Breakfast at Tiffany's is a story about the seductive power of freedom and the relentless longing for it. The main character, Holly Golightly, who called herself a "traveler", is one of the most brilliant literary figures of the twentieth century. The men who have met her continue to see her silhouette for years, to hear her bright laughter, to wait for her return… That return that heals the beauty-wounded male soul.

The show is the premiere for Bulgaria of the eponymous masterpiece of Truman Capote.

The Plovdiv Drama Theater is again among the winners with the IKAR Award for "Breakfast at Tiffany's" scenography and costumes. The big winners are Mira Kalanova (for scenography) and Marina Raichinova (for costumes). This was the only nomination for the oldest professional troupe in Bulgaria in this year's selection of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
